This Months Provider Profile: Bathurst and Finch

Hello, my name is Yasmin and there is nothing more rewarding for me than a child’s laughter. I’m young with many years of experience, full of energy and can keep up with your little ones and I’m great fun!

I am currently studying Early Childhood Education at Seneca College. I have experience working at a daycare for 2 years; Children ages 6 months – 3 years old. I also have experience working with older kids as a teachers assistant grades 1-6 (ages 5-10) for another 2 years. Volunteering at a children’s camp during summer, I have spent a lot of time observing kids, learning their different behaviors and problem solving skills. I am CPR and First Aid trained.

I reside at an apartment on Bathurst and Antibes (between Finch & Steeles). I have dedicated a room with beautiful wall size window, lots of natural light and space for kids. Kids can also freely explore the house as they wish, my home is childproof. As you step out the lobby front door, there is a beautiful children’s park, along with a big field great for picnics, playing ball or just simply running. A bus line runs along my street, stops in front of my building making it convenient for those transporting by bus.

As a childcare provider, my goal is to encourage children to use their creativity, express their unique personalities and have fun with my daily activities, my books and toys. I will provide many hands on activities along with arts and crafts age appropriate. Nutrition is important as children are growing physically and mentally. I will be serving freshly made meals and snacks to help boost their energy levels as well as growth following Canada’s Health Guide.

I look forwarding in meeting you and your little ones. Happy Holidays!!
